TMAS Red Monster ( Age 14-17/G9-G12) - Art Portfolio Preparation
At this point, children enter "The Period of Decision" development stage . They begin to treat their works like a mature artist. The belief that everyone is unique physically and mentally becomes prominent during this period and often dominates their emotions.Therefore, this stage is very important for the formation of a unique artistic style. The process of art creation is more like self-expression, a process of mutual communication with the world through your own artistic means. In this process, the ability to think independently and solve problems needs to be gradually established.
TMAS red monster courses at this stage are divided into four major themes, "Art & Identity / Art & Society / Art & Life / Art & Nature", each part includes different topics. Starting with several aspects such as: the principles of art aesthetics, art appreciation, art expression, and self-reflection to guide students to create unique works of art to reflect unique perspectives of the world and be able to form their own unique artistic style in the process.
Another focus of the curriculum is to tailor the "art portfolio plan" according to the student ’s individual needs and the requirement of different colleges and universities admission. Courses include guidance on creative topics for different majors (graphic design/architecture/fashion design/industrial design/interior design/illustration/animation, etc), combining each student’s characteristics and interests, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude to complete an outstanding art portfolio, and helping with the college application.
